There are so many great toys available today - and you'd think that Gavin would be drawn to the bright colors, funny noises, etc. But for the most part, it's the simple things that keep him entertained. He loves banging on the stainless steel mixing bowls, taking magnets off the fridge, carrying Daddy's shoes around the bedroom...and most of all he LOVES Macy. Gavin likes all the animals - he's always telling them "hi kitty, hi doggie" - but since Macy lets him pet her, hug her, and sometimes climb her, I think she is his favorite.
He also loves to get outside and walk around new places. For some reason, he always goes the opposite direction that we want him to - consistently, every time. It's like he's a little magnet that's just drawn to trouble. Anyway, here he is exploring the parking lot after a hike at the state park. He just couldn't get enough of the rocks!

Trouble magnet. . . I guess that's a good way to describe little boys! Nice to see the pooches on here, too!
